Beware the Ides of March
So yesterday (3-14) was Pi Day and today (3-15) is the Ides of March, a phrase that has acquired a sinister note as Julius Caesar was assassinated on this day in 44 BC; Shakespeare’s play, Julius Caesar, has made the phrase “Beware the Ides of March” one of foreboding concerning March 15th.
As it happens, the Ides of March of 2007—today—are a day of low barometric pressure, of humidity and rain on the way and unusually high temperatures, of meteorological circumstances which have, in the past, led to some of my son Charlie’s “not his best” types of days, due to all the heavy weather.
Am in danger here of turning a correlation into a cause?

We’ve been having an abnormally difficult week, too. Darting into traffic. More aggressive than usual–telling the p.e. teacher, he was “going to fight her.”
Can I blame the weather, too? Maybe it’s the Spring equinox? Solar flares?

Today’s weather was OK here. Yesterday’s, not so much. So that fails as a generalization. :)
(The biggest problem with the weather today is that, after yesterday, it is incredibly bright out, and anyone with light-sensitivity is going to be somewhat unhappy on that count.)

I had a rough day at school and was starting to wonder who my Brutus might be. I’m glad it’s over.

“Also, Daylight’s Saving Times”
That plus lack of sleep definitely causes autism….I nearly had a crying-melt-down at work due to the combination :-)
