Rochester Teen Shares Asperger’s Via Film
Adrian Esposito is 17 years-old and has Asperger’s Syndrome. This is a condition on the autism spectrum that is very high functioning but one of the hallmark symptoms of Asperger’s is difficulty with social interaction. That hasn’t stopped Adrian, however. He has decided to make a film about his life on the spectrum.
If you live in Rochester, New York, you will be able to see this film very soon. If you don’t live in the area, you will still get a chance at it, and in fact, you will be able to own the film. Soon it will be available for purchase through the Web site.
I visited the Web site tonight and I am very impressed with the work this young man has gone to, in the production and promotion of this film. Without a doubt, it was an obstacle for him considering the social issues of Asperger’s, but his persistence has been amazing. I, for one, am looking forward to this film.
“Different and Normal. My life with Asperger’s Syndrome,” is the name of the documentary film and it will shown at the Legacy Theater in Rochester on March 17. If you live in the area, check it out - it promises to be very interesting.
