Sweet for the Teeth
A UCLA microbiologist has created a lollipop that kills tooth decay-causing bacteria, according to Science Daily. Sweet! (pun intended)—-and if there were a fluoride-dispensing treat to substitute for toothpaste, I guess we might not need a tooth-brushing program (no cavities so far for Charlie, who likes his electric toothbrush).
Though I suspect there’s still no substitute for flossing.
(Meanwhile, scientists at Kraft are developing tasty, intentinal-worm killing food—what will we think of next?)

Too late for us I guess. We spent 3000 dollars on dental alone last year. We just found out Moosie need 6-8 caps and requires it to be done as an outpatient surgery procedure. Oh insurance won’t cover it, and it’ll be about 7000. *cry* I need lollipops!!

I’ll let b5media know—–thanks for pointing that out. (Hoping that those who manufacture Chelorex et al don’t try to make lollipops—not a good thought.)
