The odds of having an autistic child
The odds of a child developing autism are, sadly, increasing.
notes an article in the November 26th Jackson Sun which profiles Shelly Woodward who has two autistic daughters Shay, 16, and Savanna, 6.
Or is it that
the odds of a child being diagnosed with autism are increasing.

It’s the “developing” vs. “being” words that have me thinking.

Oooh at last - I have the opportunity to assist my fellow Americans to interpret their own language ! I believe the writer of the article was referring to the commonly used, colloquial phrase ‘Crap Shoot’. Or should that be ’shute?’

I think yes! It’s all a gamble, a toss-up…

I have Aspergers and its a strange world for me, everyone seems interested or has some opinion about people like me yet no answers to my questions and only academic speculation to confuse us even more than we are already.
Why not tell me how I can get a job, how I can get the rest of the world to get over the fact that I am autistic and instead of spending all your time looking for the causes why not help by looking for ways to help us be accepted by people…
