This Week’s Top Posts
The search for Jacob Allen—which ended on a happy, happy note when he was found after being missing for four days in a national park in West Virginia—hung over this whole past week. The departure of Left Brain/Right Brain still feels very strange to me, but the reasons that led Kevin Leitch to close his blog—the bizarrely cruel, and crude, attacks on Kevin’s daughter Megan by another blogger, John Best—mean that it is all the more important for us to carry on and keep at it. This week’s posts remind me why:
- Left Brain/Right Brain Closes
Hail and farewell, Kev. - No Mistake About Early Intervention
Lenny Schafer (of the Schafer Autism Report) equates Early Intervention with……abortion? - Jacob Allen Missing Since Sunday
Jacob was found on Thursday, and is all right. - Imus, Northvale, and Some Numbers
Are reports of an “autism cluster” in a town in New Jersey exaggerated? - Stuff for Autism: Toothpaste, Vodka
What won’t people sell in the name of autism? (Imagine if there were Autism Limited Edition cars……) - A Not So Religious Exemption
More and more parents are seeking a religious exemption to exempt their child from vaccination—-regardless of their actual religious beliefs. - Mom, There’s Puréed Butternut Squash in My Brownies!
Hiding cauliflower in the cake is an old trick for autism parents; don’t tell Jessica Seinfeld.
