Injecting malaria into patients as a treatment for HIV? The Examining Room of Dr. Charles reports on a 20/20 video yesterday about Dr. Henry Heimlich—yes, the man who invented the maneuver—-who has been running clinical trials in China and elsewhere to prove that malaria is an effective treatment for AIDS.
“Wild stuff,” notes Dr. Charles—-not that one has never heard similarly “wild” suggestions for treatment in regard to autism. (Have you had your ozygen today?)
