World Ocean Day
Yesterday, June 8th, was World Ocean Day and I have to take a post to salute Charlie’s natural element. You can read Carnival of the Blue at Blogfish. Is our ocean future is a glass half empty or a glass half full?
(A glass half empty or half full—–that sounds like a way to describe differing views of autism: As deficit, disease, and impairment; as difference and diversity.)
Thanks to Deep Sea News for pointing me to the Trilobis, a solar-powered, circular, “ocean-going coupe.” Maybe that’s the house of Charlie’s dreams……..
I’m getting beachsick just thinking about it.
